GPS data logger

I have a requirement that needs to match a GPS data with each picture. For my Nikon D90 it is fairly easy since I can plug in an attachment to the camera and the image will have the GPS information on the EXIF.

However I am using the Sigma DP 1 and I would like to get a GPS data logger that will log the longitude and latitude information every time the camera shutter is triggered. I can then match up the information when I get back to the ground. I do NOT need a telemetry setup. I just need something that will do the logging of the information.

I have the Eagle Tree eLogger and Expander. Is Eagle Tree GPS logger what I need?

Any other option I should look into?
